Seek 'n Spell is part of The Lab's art.tech festival here in San Francisco next weekend! The Lab is a fantastic local arts organization whose mission is to 'support the development and presentation of new visual, performing, media, sonic and literary art. [They] assist artists in the creation of new work and showcase work of the highest quality by emerging and underrepresented experimental artists. Of particular interest is work which crosses boundaries, encourages evolving artistic and social dialogue between artists and audiences, and develops the culture and community of the San Francisco Bay Area.'art.tech is The Lab's upcoming festival that celebrates the intersection of art and technology, and Retronyms will present Seek 'n Spell! The gallery is open for art.tech Friday and Saturday, 1 to 11pm, and Sunday 1 to 10pm, with performances starting at 8pm Friday and Saturday, and 7pm on Sunday. It's a really great lineup, so for anyone not headed out of town Labor Day weekend, be sure to check it out! If you're around Saturday the 5th, we'll be giving a brief lecture and heading out to Dolores Park for some demos.
