Deadline for Tabletop Contest Coming Soon...

In case you missed it, we're currently holding a contest to see who can create the best Tabletop track with the new devices from the 1.6 release.  The winner will receive a free year-long SoundCloud Pro account, and the deadline to submit your entry is 11:59PM PDT Sunday, September 16, 2012.

The submission criteria are really easy to follow, all you have to do is:

1. Make a track using only Tabletop. Imported samples are ok though.
2. Use the Magic Mic in some way in the track. You're free to use whatever other devices you like.
3. Submit your track by the deadline (still 11:59PDT Sunday, September 16, 2012).

The submission process is also super easy, just post the track to SoundCloud right from the app.  The steps to do this are:

1. Launch Tabletop and open the track you want to submit. 
2. Tap the Session button in the top left, then Share on SoundCloud.
3. Enter your SoundCloud account info if you're not already logged in, or create an account if you don't yet have one (this is free to do).
4. Add "Contest Entry" to the What field.
5. Tap Upload and Share, make sure you get the message that says 'Yay, that worked!' and that's it!

Retronyms will select the winner based on the subjective criteria of what track we like best and what we think does a great job of showing off Tabletop's capabilities.  So choose whatever musical style suits your tastes, but be sure to follow the above criteria.  And if you think there's a certain song that's extra awesome and deserving of the grand prize, say so in the track's comments!  We'll take all that into consideration when deliberating.  Here's a sampling of some of the entries so far:
