📦 Unboxing an iMPC Pro 2 Update Fixes 📦

iMPC Pro 2 Bug Fix Update

We want to thank all of our Mobile Music Makers out there for reaching out to us through support@retronyms.com to bring our attention to the fun bugs that have popped up as Apple has added improvements to iOS 18. This week, we are happy to release a bug fix update to iMPC Pro 2 to see it optimized for iOS 18 production flow. 

In this update, we addressed a few big bugs that didn't allow some music makers to save their mixing and mastering settings in projects. There were also others who reported they experienced iMPC Pro 2 crashing when trying to save a projects. We've fixed these major bugs and are happy to report that iMPC Pro 2 for iPad and iMPC Pro 2 for iPhone is optimized for iOS 18.5.

Behind the Beat: The Original iMPC

As we continue to keep the beats flowing on the iMPC Pro 2, we want to take a look “Behind the Beat” and remember how we changed the game with the release of the Original iMPC.

The original iMPC powerhouse is still the truest digital interface of 16-pad beatmaking experience, which was pioneered by Akai Proffesional decades ago. It’s awesome to know there are countless mobile music makers who regularly use iMPC on their production flow.

In this reel from @buxuselbeatmaker, we see how this mobile music maker is still finding creative ways to experiment on the Original iMPC.
